James 4:13-17
Question: How grateful do you think God wants you to be?
• God wants you to live a life of peace and fulfillment.
• God’s Will is what you should focus on, not your own.
• If it’s the Lord’s Will, you will live.
Question: Who is really in control?
Question: How easy is it to forget that God is control?
• God is Sovereign.
Question: How well do you know God’s Will for your life?
Question: Are you really surrendered to God’s plan or are you at war with God?

Ephesians 1:1-14
• Paul wrote this letter to the faithful in Ephesus from a prison in Rome.
• Think of the context of his letter and then you realize what his joy was based on!
• You ought to understand where he got his grace and contentment.
Question: Does this sound like someone who understands God’s grace and peace?
Question: Do you believe that God works out everything?
• Your God has chosen you.
Question: How special would you feel to be chosen by God?
• The benefits of being chosen because of God’s Will.
Question: Are you grateful?

Acts 17:26-27
Question: Are you grateful to be chosen to be with God for eternity?
• The word “eulogy” in the Greek was eulogia.
• Eulogy = a laudatory speech or written tribute, especially one praising someone who has died (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language).
• God wants to commend you and give you tribute and praise.
• Eternal gifts are forever.
• You look at blessings as material things that benefit you.
• However, the real blessings cannot be taken away from you.

1. God has chosen you to be holy and blameless.
• God wants you to be pure.
• God wants His Church to be the bride of Christ.
• You are called to be pure.
• However, often we feel no shame when we are influenced by the world!
• God wants you to be holy, pure and righteous.
Question: How deep are your convictions about sin in your life?

Colossians 3:1-14
• You cannot be holy if your focus is on the world.
Question: Have you died to every sin that could hold you back from being with God?
• You should not keep playing with sin at all.
• Do not take God’s grace for granted.
Question: Do you act more like the world does when someone hurts you?
Question: How are you doing?
Question: Are you really dying to sin in your life?
Question: Have you put your sin to death?
Question: Are you living a life of repentance?
• If you are living for your will, then that leads to death.
• Only by being holy can you be with God.

2. God has chosen you to be adopted as His sons and daughters.
Question: When was the last time you were grateful to be adopted into His Family?

Romans 8:5-17
• There is no greater privilege than to be chosen by God to be in His Family.
• You got to repent, change and get baptized into the baptism waters (Acts 2:38).
• You have been identified by the Spirit of God.
• If you are really humble and obedient and if you are a child of God, then you have to change.
“Freedom is not free.”
• Jesus died so that you can have freedom.
Question: Where is the monument for Jesus?
Question: Where is the monument for God?
• There is no greater privilege than to be chosen to be a son of God.
Question: Is dying to sin easy?
Question: Are you willing to suffer to be righteous?
• You want to justify your sin.
• You want the rewards without putting in the effort.

3. God has chosen you for the redemption and forgiveness of sins.
Question: When was the last time someone really hurt you?
Question: Why don’t you honor, acknowledge and praise God before men?
Question: How patient and tolerant is your God?

Romans 2:1-8
Question: Are you really grateful for the grace and forgiveness of sins?
• You chose to sin but God chose to love you anyway.
• You are so quick to pass judgment on other people when they hurt you.
Question: How grateful do you need to be for the forgiveness of sins?
• When you confess your sins, you cleanse yourself.
• If you confess your sin, then God will forgive you.

Colossians 1:6-14
• God wants you to live a life worthy of His forgiveness.
Question: What does it mean to live a life pleasing to God?
• You need to bear fruit in your life.
• You will grow in the knowledge of Jesus.
Question: Are you growing in your knowledge of Jesus?
Question: Are you growing in your patience?
Question: Are you bearing fruit in your life?
Question: How much more do you need to have patience to be with your God?

4. God has chosen you to praise His Name.
Psalm 96:1-13
Question: When was the last time you sang to God?
• If you are grateful to be forgiven of your sins and if you love God then you will love people.

1 Corinthians 4:5
• Sometimes, you want praise from men more than you want praise from God.
• You cannot share your faith if you have no faith to begin with.
Question: What do you fear?
• The man leads the relationship because that is the Will of God.
• What you fear is your idol.
• What you fear is your god.
• Ascribe: to assign as a quality or characteristic (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language).
• Confess your sin before you come to Sunday Worship Church Service.
Question: Are you going to be ready?

Ephesians 5:8-17
Question: How do you live your life?
Question: What do you say when someone hurts you?
• You were darkness personified.
• You are supposed to call out sin and expose it.
• If you are not living according to God’s Will, then you are a fool.
Question: Are you living a life of peace because you rely on God’s grace?
Question: What are you willing to do to suffer?
Question: What are you willing to do to bear fruit in your life?
