What We Believe

1.  There is one true God who reveals himself to the world as The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19Open Link in New Window)

2.  Jesus, the Son of God, is our one and only Lord and Savior, crucified for our sins and physically resurrected from the dead on the third day. (John 14:6Open Link in New Window; Acts 4:12Open Link in New Window; 1 Corinthians 15Open Link in New Window)

3.  The whole Bible is the written message of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17Open Link in New Window; 2 Peter 1:19-21Open Link in New Window)

4.  A person is saved by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. A person must, through faith and obedience, reach out to receive this free gift of salvation. (Ephesians 1:1-10Open Link in New Window; James 2:14-26Open Link in New Window)

5.  As with the first Christians, when a person repents and is baptized their sins are forgiven and the Holy Spirit will be received. (Acts 2:36-41Open Link in New Window; Romans 8:5-11Open Link in New Window)

6.  Each Christian has a mission to share Christ by teaching all people to be a disciple, baptizing them, and to continue to be involved in their life to help a person mature in their faith. (Matthew 28:18-20Open Link in New Window)

7.  We must love one another as Jesus did by laying our life down for each other through love, and sharing the Gospel with others. By this people will know that we are Jesus’ disciples. (John 13:34-35Open Link in New Window)

8.  Each member is encouraged to have their own convictions based on the Bible through personal Bible study. (Acts 17:11Open Link in New Window)
